I wish I had a picture, the salmon is fantastic. They put a homemade balsamic dressing, just a drizzle. Topped over spinach that they put so much love into. Can't go wrong with anything there. :)
I loved the experience. The food was superb. I can't explain how pleased my cousins from Phildelphia were. If a Philly person thinks the Italian food is delicious you know it is. Lovely service by Andrew our waiter. I will be going back. Really yummy. A+
Quaint little place. Great food. Fast friendly service.
Authentic Italian experience, with awesome service by a team who cares about the food and the customer experience.
Authentic Italian food in Jacksonville, FL is rare! This place is refreshing!
Wonderful, romantic restaurant. Best Italian in Jacksonville. Food and Ambiance are superb. A violinist supports the romantic mood.
The lobster ravioli is amazing. Owner is always nice and pleasant. Remembers me whenever I call, and also when come in. Definitely recommend this restaurant. 👍🏼
Pricey buy v good limited in some of the choices but authitic taste. Would do 5 stars but no veal which I have been craving!
Our first time there and me being from New York and I always been eating Italian food 24/7 so I think I should know what it taste like I'm a senior citizen so I do know about Italian food this was okay it was nothing to go home right about spaghetti was a little bit over cook and the sauce can use more flavor the plate was okay not presentable enough restaurant was clean could use improvements and during lunch But if you got the time and you're in Gainesville and you want some good New York Italian food I guarantee this one restaurant you want to check this out the name is Francesca's it's in Gainesville Florida and it's definitely worth the trip it's only 55 minutes from Jacksonville one way you never had nothing in your life like this we hope this review help you out
TERRIBLE!!!The food is over priced GARBAGE!!! Short staffed, slow HORRIBLE service.
The greatest service and personal service. The food Is fantastic and the freshest I have had in sometime. This is a must try and come back for more. Thank you for a wonderful luncheon experience.
A wonderful small Italian restaurant in Riverside. Quiet, cosy with a very welcoming staff. The menu is not overwhelming but does offer something for everyone. The prices are reasonable and the portions just right. Will be making it one of my go to places in the neighborhood.
Great Italian restaurant! Owner stopped by to ask how everything was; nice touch for a small place. Had a couple young musicians play live music on the violin which was fun. Overall, food was great and waiter was very attentive. Would recommend to a friend.
Amazing food and amazing people. Will absolutely return. Primi Piatti brought an extra bit of magic to an already wonderful night out with my husband.
10/10 would recommend.... If I didn't want this place all for myself!!! My date and I were speechless. The experience all around was intoxicating. Our server was more than accommodating. The food was delicious, so satisfying, and worth every penny. The major D or manager(I'm not sure) was very much invested in whether or not we enjoyed ourselves. I have not had a dining experience like this in ages, we both will be back ABSOLUTELY.
Everything about this place is perfect. Perfect service. Perfect pasta. Perfect tiramisu. It’s a good thing we live far away, otherwise I might be there every evening! Recommend wholeheartedly.
Amazing food. Amazing service. I go back regularly.
Waited almost 20 minutes to be acknowledged and served they have a sign that says please wait to be seated I waited about 17 minutes standing up before they even came and helped me just to tell them I had to call in order. Other than that everything was fine I guess
Very quaint. Nice atmosphere and italian food. Good stuff
1st time here with my fiance both the food and service were excellent. Only complaint is how the front door when opened is not shut all the way due to cold air.
Best Italian food in Jacksonville!
Amazing! Excellent food, service and ambiance! We thought we were in Italy again!
Amazing place, not only was the food great the service was top tier! They really catered to us and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. The owner/manager was especially kind and treated us like friends. Everyone loved their food. It was flavorful and neatly presented. Definitely would recommend!
Great service. Wonderful food. Quiet enviorment.
very nice quaint place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal. not casual dining. Very clean well run establishment. But it's not like your grandma's cooking.
I love this restaurant it’s the best, the service is awesome the food delicious I love it😍😱
A quiet neighborhood upscale Italian Restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s Day lunch. I did not give 5 stars because the restaurant had only one waitress on staff for one of the busiest holidays. Food is great.
Authentic and intimate meal for lovers. Reservations set, arrived late and close to closing, but the wait staff remained enthusiastic and polite. They opened the door for us as we arrived. George, was our waiter and he exceeded our expectations. He check in with us through the meal, but not in an intrusive way. Food was spectacular!!! Having been to Italy a few times, I can say the food was Authentic to the nation. At the end of the meal we received a piece of cake that was too die for!!! Forgot the name of the cake, but a white chocolate lime cake…a must try. We will be back for the cake alone and may purchase a cake soon just to have some at home. If you want a truly authentic Italian experience and food, this is your spot. Nothing fancy, no flashing lights or commercial production, just great food, great service, and great setting for conversation with the one you love.
Just down the street from our house! I have never had a bad experience here and we frequent here about every other week! The staff is unbelievable and are super friendly! Literally EVERYTHING on the menu is homemade and delicious. Definitely preferred Italian restaurant in Jacksonville.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My husband and I got a last minute rare date night without our kids and decided to come here. They were very busy, but still managed to get us a table. The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent! A gentleman who I think was the owner was very apologetic about our wait and even treated us to a bottle of wine on the house. We will definitely be coming back, and hope to become regulars!
A very disappointing dinner tonight. Linguine vongole was tasteless, watery. Clams heavily salted and raw, chopped garlic simply dumped on the few clams there were, pasta completely unsalted, overcooked and without oil or crushed red pepper. No oil or white wine to make a creamy sauce with the reserved water and pasta. Although a slow night, the waiter didn't return to see if the dish was being well received. When he returned to pick up largely uneaten plate, he only asked if I wanted to take it home.
OMG this is the best italian restaurant I've ever been too. The service the food everything is AmAzInG!!!!!!. My favroit is the fettuccine alfredo i love it. Everyone in Jacksonville should go there. It is litterally the best, God bless yalls restaurant 😇🙏🤞
Always amazing food and service!
Love this place! Authentic quality ingredients like real truffle oils, homemade gelatos, handmade pasta and sauces. The owner Mario is very nice and hands on. Thanks Primi!
I liked the atmosphere, the small cafe feel. The service was very slow, and while I enjoyed the food, it certainly wasn't any better than average.
My friend and I had a marvelous dinner at this family owned ITALIAN restaurant. The waiter was very attentive and the owner checked on us through out the evening chatting with us. My diet is limited (no gluten) and the owner and waiter assured me that all meals are prepared to order, which they were. I had the salmon and my friend had the lasagna. We finished off with a dessert on the house! We highly recommend.
Service and food exceeds expectations with every visit!
The owner George took fantastic care of us. The food was excellent and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. Looking forward to going back to our new favorite, locally-owned, neighborhood Italian place.
They were great food and service very happy
George went out of his way to make sure I had an early dinner. Tysvm George you are the best!!!!!
Impeccable experience! This establishment is a hidden gem, the food was some of the best Italian we've ever had (veal cacciatore) matri di offered his company and complimentary wine samples! Will definitely be back!
Great Food 🥘 outstanding 5 star 🌟 service, owner, staff and chefs👨🍳 that have specialty of Italian cuisine hands down! Experience Experience Experience in Italian Cuisine makes this the Best Authentic Italian Restaurant in Jacksonville/Florida. You get what you pay for, quality and delicacy has no price. To me the price for their food it’s worth every penny, the quality of their food is second to none. Price is meaningless when you get authentic quality food nuff said! The experience matters at this place!
Very good food and nice date night spot.
Had the lobster ravioli, delicious, comes with 6 raviolis, which honestly is not enough for $27. Also had the Bella ferrara, great pasta flavor and seafood. That dish was also $27. The bread they give out honestly is not good. I wish they gave a soup or salad with your meal. I wouldn’t come here again, great food just wish they gave a bit bigger portions for the money spent. Otherwise real cute and all
I stopped here for lunch today for the first time. When I entered the restaurant the server was busy with other patrons, so I ran to the ladies room. In the ladies room I realized my wallet was in the car. So upon exiting the ladies room, I proceeded to go and get my wallet. However, the server chased me down at the door and very loudly told me that next time I need to ask permission to use the ladies room. This was quite embarrassing as he made a scene in front of the other patrons. I told him I had simply left my wallet in the car. After being embarrassed like this there was no way I was eating lunch there. The owner should be ashamed of his staff acting so unprofessionally. I will never go to this establishment again.
Ok so Emilie and I are here again, first time since the corona nightmare. Service is impeccable. We feel like we are at our grandparents home and their only joy is to make us happy. More to come!
Wonderful, delicious food and excellent attentive service! A true small gem. Dinner is a bit pricy, but well worth the money. Wines are quite good.
Nice and quaint. Family style or individual plates. Everything is by courses. Appetizers, first and second plates. We had the special of the day which was the grouper francaise. Also had the she crab soup which was delicious. I had the chicken cacciatore. Both dishes were very tasty. Was it the best Italian I've had in Jax? That remains to be seen. It's hard to eat Italian food when you live with someone that cooks Italian handed down from generation to generation. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and the server was very attentive.
One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The lasagna cut like a pie instead of a cake.$24 per lasagna, not including a salad or soup. That’s ridiculous. And it wasn’t even that good. You want the best Italian food in Jacksonville, go to Vito’s in Julington Creek. It’s worth the drive. Primo Piatti isn’t the place.
Great food! A little slow-paced. Enjoyable atmosphere.
I come here on special occasions. Tonight was my anniversary and the chef sat with us after dinner and offered us a free drink and dessert. Best cannoli I've ever had. I recommend this to anyone who wants a real Italian dinner.
